Frequently Asked Questions About
Sushi & Sake Gala

Will tickets be available at the door?

No. All guests need to register in advance to attend the event. Tickets are available online, by phone or by mail.

Is there a pre-assigned seat for me?

Yes. You can be a Table Captain to fill all ten seats at your table with your family and friends, or you can purchase an individual ticket and join another table.

Is it all you can eat and drink?

Your admission entitles you seven samplings of sake and/or beer to enjoy with sushi appetizers at the reception. A benefit dinner in the Grand Ballroom will follow the sushi and sake reception.

Is it different from Sushi & Sake Fest you hosted in the past?

We still have a variety of premium sake and beer to sample and fresh selections of sushi prepared by local sushi chefs. There will be a silent auction and festive live music. Our guests can then enjoy a sit-down dinner and sake in the Grand Ballroom.

What do I wear to Sushi & Sake Gala?

Many of our guests come to the event after work wearing business casual. Jeans and other casual attire are also welcome.

Can I bring my child?

We ask that our guests not bring children to the Sushi & Sake Gala. The legal age for the event is 21 and over.

How can I support the Sushi & Sake Gala if I'm unable to attend?

You can support the Sushi & Sake Gala by: donating an auction item for our silent auction, volunteering at the event, or making a cash donation. Please contact Densho at 206-320-0095 or sushisake@densho.org for more details.
